		<description>This is a somewhat outdated hardware setup but i&#039;ll tell you where you need most work:

Ram - At least should be 4 gigs. This is the minimum. 

Video Card - Quadro type cards or anything that support Cuda are the only things that will be used by After Effects to accelerate video editing. Anything else is a waste for an editing system. For 3d, any card is technically good with obvious degrees of quality.

Hard Drives - Drives are cheap now and if you do any video work you will need a separate drive (other then system drive) with a software RAID (which is good enough these days). So that should be three drives minimum.</description>

I followed it very closely on my own build I did in March with a few minor upgrades as technology allowed. It runs really well, and chugs through the 16bit DV Rebel based AE pipeline I use with my DVX100A. Thanks!</description>
